My name is Rebecca Howell, EA, owner of Custom Bookkeeping & Accounting Solutions, LLC and an Enrolled Agent. My business is a small bookkeeping business that specializes in helping other small business save time and money with the necessary tasks of bookkeeping. I have completed projects nationwide from Hawaii to New York.
My career started working for a small CPA firm in Scottsdale, Arizona as a Staff Accountant. After three tax seasons, I realized I could make a successful business for myself while helping other businesses with their bookkeeping needs. My business was incorporated in November 2004 to help with personal tax savings and also so I could better understand the process for my clients. Because of the skills learned from the CPA firm and my own business, I am able to provide a full range of services to fit each business and their needs.
I have been a QuickBooks Certified Proadvisor since 2004 and an Advanced Certified Proadvisor since 2009. I continue to grow my QuickBooks certification each and every year. In 2012, I passed a three part IRS exam to become an Enrolled Agent. This allows me to prepare tax returns and also represent clients with IRS issues. I am also involved with American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and National Association of Tax Professionals. With my many professional certificates, this allows me to stay up to date on tax law changes and updates for bookkeeping scenarios.
